What I Did
Since there was no school, my brother and I would stay up late and wake up at 12:30, eventually our mum would come in and tell us to get up but, when she leaves we take advantage and stay for 15 minutes of sleep. Getting up was the hard part, as the low temperature would tell us to go back to sleep under the cozy blanket but we knew that time wouldn't wait for us as we had much to do for the day. We've gotten through the hard part of the day, now we have to do our exercises before eating breakfast, doing our chores and homework. We both had very simple exercises, firstly we start by stretching secondly sit-ups third push-ups and lastly skipping. Sometimes I skip it though, because my mum can't see because she is in her room. Then we ate breakfast, we had coco pops, we walked into the living room and watch adventure time on Netflix. My mum came out of her room then she started exercising. As soon as we finished we turned on our computers to do our homework it was Studyladder etc, in Studyladder I have heaps of coins etc because I have been going on it every day especially after 3:30 because you will get double the amount of coins we then had lunch we had sausages etc it was delicious. After lunch we had to do our chores it took like 30 minutes to complete all of them because all the chores were easy. then it was free time for us both we played Minecraft together, then we all went to the kitchen to help make dinner, after dinner we called our family, after that we watched movies till 2:00 am me and mum watched in the living room TV but my brother didn't like the movies so he watched it on the TV in our room he wanted to watch Stranger things.

Hey Ethan very cool to see you have put a post up on your blog. It is great hearing how everyone is passing the days away. Good to hear you are doing exercises and following a routine with chores and helping your family. We will have to load up more study ladder activities soon. Have you been making yum food? WE have had scones a few days as they are one of my favourites. Have a look at some of the other students blogs in Te Waka Ako and see what they have been up to and leave some comments for them. Kia atawhai kia kaha

Bye bye!!!
Good afternoon Ethan, it is great to see that you are blogging again! It's great to hear that you are staying active and doing daily exercise - this is a really important thing for us to do while we are staying away from school. I found it interesting to hear that you are getting double coins in Studyladder in your log in at a specific time - that is an incentive for sure. What activities are your favourite in this programme? I'm pleased to hear that you are helping out with chores too - this is a good example of you demonstrating the Key Competency of Participation and Contribution. I'll look forward to reading your future posts during lock down - keep up the good work Ethan!
ReplyDeleteHi Ethan, it's great that you've got your older brother to exercise with, that would definitely be more fun than exercising on your own. It's also wonderful that you've been able to keep in touch with you family during the lockdown. I'm also pleased to read that you have been helping out around the house and doing some school work. Keep blogging Ethan.

Hi Ethan, I was so pleased to see you had done a blog post! Because all of us teachers aren't at school, and all Waikowhai kids are learning from home, we wonder how you are all doing and what you are up to. Thanks to your blog, I know now.
ReplyDeleteYou have a routine going and have time set aside for exercise, chores and schoolwork. It would be great to hear about some of the specific schoolwork activities you have done and how you found them. I look forward to seeing some blog updates.
Stay safe and well in your bubble and we will see you when we are all back at school again, later this term.
