Santa tracker

In December since it's nearly Christmas! we got to go on a very cool site called Santa Tracker. If you don't know what it is, it is an Awesome site filled with Christmas games and activities like Present Bounce and Snowball Storm. Most of them are high score games. My favorite game is Snowball Storm because it's an AI snowball shooting game, you can collect presents to get bigger snowballs so there is a less chance of missing and you get more snowballs. My highest level is 77 but I had to go out to Morning tea. And every year they have new games you can check out. Feel free to check that site out here is the link to it Santa Tracker. Summer learning journey

Hi bloggers. Today Mr Marget's came in and told us about the summer learning journey teaser!. We first had to go to the site and register, then we watched this video of a lady explaining the first task, it was coloring we had to choose a photo then we have a variety of colors and we had to tap a part of a picture to colour it I did two. A pattern one and a watermelon one. Then we had to make a blog about it. Here is the link of the coloring website. Art coloring 

Intermediate visit

Today on Friday 27th November it was very exciting because we went to visit Waikowhai intermediate to find out who our teacher is and our class. First we sat down at the start waiting for all the students to arrive, it was very cool because I saw friends from other schools like Aidan & Atreyu. Next the teachers one by one went up to the front and called names that's going to be in there class, I was in room 10 Miss Kumar's class and the people from Waikowhai that's in our class is Pao, Ayo, Aamena and Mahan. She and the councilors had to explain about the school liked sports and other subjects then she gave out a piece of paper to write our names on and take a photo with it, also some sheets about the school and an about me sheet. Then we had to go back to the hall and get our bags to go home. Blog ya later!

Skateboarding

Hi guys today instead of doing math we did skateboarding!. Our two coaches names are Ben and Lawrence. We had to stand behind the skateboard we chose and put on our helmets first. Then we had to fall forwards and whatever foot comes in front to stop you is the foot you use to control the board. If your left foot stopped you it's called Goofy and the right ones called Natural. After that he told us where to put your feet when riding a skateboard, we had to put it on the four bolts on the top. The top is called Nose and the bottom is Tail. We had to ride around the court so we could get use to it. As soon as that finished we had to go to the other end of the court and go back to tell if anyone knows how to ride a skateboard. Then we  were split  in half, one in one court and the other in the second. We did a lot in that time we had to do lunges while balancing on the skateboard ,turning on the skateboard doing Tic Tacs etc. At the end we went back to class and wrote what was great and challenging, what we had learnt, and what we have gained from learning to skateboard. I liked doing the snake where we have to turn right ad left over and over again. Blog ya later.

On The 4th, 5th and 6th of November we had a school Production. The theme for our production This year was Aladdin. But we changed it up a little and now it's called 'Jasmine and Aladdin'. Before we did the actual play we had to have rehearsals. We have rehearsals every Friday and Most of the Time after school for 13 weeks. Most of the weeks we had to do it in the school hall but some of the weeks we had all of our props and costumes and we rehearsed in Waikowhai Intermediate. After rehearsals it was time. The production. It was for 3 days, two at 7:00 PM and one at 10:00 AM.

We had to come early so we can arrange everything. All The classes got changed for the dance, backstage had to set everything up, and the cast gets there microphones, last but not least lighting and sound. There are 3 people in lighting and sound. Me, Indie and Mr Riceman. I did the backdrops, Indie did the lighting and Mr Riceman did the sound. It started when the Narrators came out to talk about the palace (Hasbah) and the deserts etc, then the evil magician Omar comes out and is trying to find The great cave Of wonders, after he found it Geewiz his assistant came to get Aladdin because the cave said he was the only one that could go in. Then it takes place in the market which has Aladdin and princess Jasmines. In the show there are 9 scenes and it is about an hour and 30 minutes long Blog ya later!

Spring art

On 11.9.2020 we had to say what was spring like and then we had to close our eyes and we had to draw the first thing we see that's related to spring, most of the people thought of trees. I thought of a cherry blossom tree and so did some others. Afterwards we had to get our art book, pencil, and our coloring pencils. Some people were way behind because they had to do production practice that's coming up this year and some people completed it really fast. I was kinda stuck so I took out my chrome book and looked up cherry blossom trees so I can get more ideas on how to draw it. It was way better doing our work because we got to listen music I listened to Lofi beats. It just chill beats to listen while doing work or other stuff. Tennis

Hi guys, today I will be talking about Tennis. Every Wednesday we have Tennis lessons outside on the first court. Our instructors name was Wayne. He is from the Block house bay tennis club. First thing we do when we arrive is to sit and listen what we're doing first then we go where we should be and start.

I think at the start we did the passing and hitting game. There was 6 people in each side, one side has the tennis racket, and one side has the ball. So at the start the person with the ball has to bounce it then the person holding the tennis racket has to hit it softly onto the other side, and while he catches it the tennis racket guy has to pass it on and go to the back of the line in the team with the ball and the person with the ball has to pass it onto the next person and go to the back of the line in the hitting team. For the next game we took the net and placed it in front of us, we also got a racket each. The first player had to hit the ball and keep going till they lose.

The loser side is the opposite side for me and the other team is the opposite side of them, and whoever won the most times has to play with the other players that won a lot, but we had no time to do it so we had to put the nets back, the rackets, and the ball then we said thank you and left.
